Concept Design
The concept design phase is where you see your plans come together and take shape. You’ll get input from your architect and builder to finalise the layout and style of your home and select the materials and finishes to be used. Our designers will make a 3D mock-up of your design plan to ensure everything you want is included.
Design Development
This is when the experts at Split Building will finalise your plan and make minor adjustments where required. We also get the paperwork in order for local authority building approval in the Blue Mountains.
Contract Documentation
Now that the design element is complete, a consultant will enable your project’s final Building Approvals. Split Building has an extensive network of specialist consultants we regularly engage on our projects. However, we are always happy to work with consultants proposed by our clients.
Construction
This is a two-phase process consisting of pre-construction and construction. Pre-construction is those activities that need to be completed before any building work can commence, such as surveys, zoning approval, and formulating construction documents. The construction stage involves site preparation, the erection of scaffolding, the installation of utility lines, and the pouring of concrete. Once the structure is complete, the finishing touches can be added, such as paint, carpeting, and fixtures.
It is exciting to see your dream home being built or renovated. At Split Building, we strive to offer a stress-free design and building experience customised to your needs. You will have one point of contact every step of the way to bring your vision to life.
